Redsn0w 0.9.7 beta4 is Out for Download for iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak

The fourth beta redsn0w 0.9.7b4 is out for download for iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak which no longer requires you to install and run a separate program for the usbmux. In addition to thisredsn0w 0.9.7b4 brings fix to race condition in the GUI that was causing redsn0w to crash during the “Preparing JB Monte Files” step. iPhone Dev Team is still ironing out  bugs inBluetooth and Skype that is still lurking the final release of redsn0w 0.9.7.

Skype 3.0 for iPhone 3GS, 4 and iPod touch 4G now Available!

As predicted, popular VoIP service Skype has rolled out video calling for the iPhone and iPod touch over WiFi and 3G (on iOS 4.0 and above). The iPhone 3GS, 4, and iPod Touch 4G are all able to send and receive video, but as expected, the iPad and iPod Touch 3G can only receive video.

Geohot to Release Rubyra1n Jailbreak Tool? May Be!

Apparently next year, the famous “Lemon Green drop” of Geohot might turn into “Ruby Red”. It seems that the infamous hacker is working on a new iPhone Jailbreak tool “Rubyra1n”. We do not know officially what the program will consist of but probably relates to unlock and jailbreak iPhone iOS 4.2.1 untethered, for all the iDevices like iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Geohot has not spoken a word about all this and we can not safely combine his paternity in this project, however, by the whois domain record for rubyra1n , we note that it is headed right for George Hotz, with all the information , address and email that perfectly match the data with which it was made out to blackra1n and limera1n.
