Governor Salman Taseer Family Not Ready For FIR
ISLAMABAD: An FIR of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer is not being lodged, as the deceased’s family does not want the same to happen for the time being.
Governor Salman Taseer family will hold consultations over the issue and later on, the FIR would be lodged against killing of Taseer.
It should be mentioned here that post mortem on Taseer’s body was conducted at Pakistan Institute ofMedical Sciences (PIMS) hospital, where doctors’ report said the deceased received at least 27 gunshots wounds on his body.
Later, his body was shifted to airport to be flown into Lahore, where his funeral prayers will be offered at 1am tomorrow at Governor House.
