Houses of Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif raided by IT officials

MUMBAI: India’s Income Tax officials have raided the houses of Bollywood super
hits actresses Priyanka Chopra & Katrina Kaif this morning (Jan 24, 2011) on suspicion of tax evasion.  The raids have been carried out at about 12 premises belonging to the actresses & would continue till the evening.
The IT officials have served notices to both Priyanka Chopra & Katrina Kaif earlier, seeking details of their income but they failed to convince them.
On suspicion that the bollywood super hits actresses are trying to evade tax by hiding their actual income, the IT department decided to raid their houses.
The detailed information on the raid is awaited, as the raid is expected to continue till evening. Monitoring Desk
